Sayla’s Newborn Shoot: Precious Little Girl

I love newborns.

Delicate little fingers and toes. Scrunched up eyes and lips. Perfect skin.

They are so much fun to photograph, because no two shoots are alike. You just never know what you are going to get. Sometimes, they can sleep through the entire shoot and let you pose them however you want. Sometimes, they wiggle and squirm and cry and then do all three at once. Sometimes it’s a combination of the two. And the shots are always unique.

Little Sayla’s shoot was definitely one of those comb0 affairs. For parts of the shoot, she would be fast asleep and it was like posing a doll. At other times she would be wide awake and giving us a full dose of her personality.

So we went with the flow. We let Sayla do her thing and we did ours and here is the result. Enjoy.
