If you know me very well, you know that I can’t play sports.
Love to watch them. Wrote about sports for over a decade and a half in another life.
But play? If I had to depend on my athletic ability to eat, I’d starve.
My, son, however, is showing a bit more promise than his dad. He’s been playing basketball for a while and we told you about his exploits on the court for his Upward Basketball team last year. This year, he played Junior Pro with a bunch of his football teammates and lo and behold he made the All-Star team.
So far, it’s been a bit of a rocky road as they have lost both of the games they have played, but we still have a while to play. The season won’t be over until March 3, so there’s time.
