Family, Fall Frenzy and the Future

So the 2010 Freedom Christian Academy Fall Frenzy is officially in the books and I have a few observations to make.

First of all, my father-in-law and I paired up to try and win the first-ever Corn Hole tournament in FCA history.  Let me just say to all the men out there, if you are trying to impress your father-in-law, pick something other than a game you have only played a few times as your platform.  While I didn’t completely embarrass myself, it certainly was not a performance worthy of remembrance in the Jedi archives (to steal a quote from Count Dooku in Star  Wars II: The Attack of the Clones) and our bid to win the Wal-Mart gift cards up for grabs fell short.  I guess diapers will have to wait a few days.

Second, The FCA Fall Frenzy continues to improve each year and I can only see this even growing in popularity.  East Knoxville sorely needs family-friendly events like this where the whole community can come and enjoy wholesome fun.  FCA principal Melanie Stipes and her staff keep finding new ways to draw the families in each year.  New to the event this year were the Corn hole tournament previously mentioned and, arguably the most popular attraction at Fall Frenzy 2010, the Monster Truck attraction on the softball field.  I’m not sure everyone realized what all that horsepower and all-terrain tires were going to do to the softball field surface, but the popularity of the attraction was overwhelming.  My kids kept going back!

Finally, while manning the Studio P booth (thanks to all you who stopped by!), I realized once again how powerful a picture can be.  I watched as many came by and looked at the pictures on display and remarked at how good the shots were.  One item that caught the eye of nearly everyone who stopped by the booth was our new offering by Metal Murals.  The final product achieved by reproducing high quality images on high grade aluminum is simply stunning.   I watched as customer after customer held the sample we had on hand and were blown away by the concept.  Sharp, crisp lines combined with stunning color and durable metal bring the future to the present while preserving the past on a lasting medium. The shot below really doesn’t do it justice.

How many times have you had pictures taken and gotten the final product back only to be disappointed by how thin the printed picture actually is?  It seems with each passing year the big photography stores that shall remain nameless find ways to increase the price while cheapening the product.  At Studio P we are committed to finding cutting edge ways to preserve memories while maintaining quality and ensuring the longevity and durability of the finished product.  With our new Metal Murals product offering, your memories are reproduced on a UV coated, scratch-resistant surface while preserving true color and resolution.  You can even use both sides of the high-grade aluminum or create a colossal Metal Mural using multiple 12”, 9”, or 6” tiles!

This year at the FCA Fall Frenzy I saw a change was on the horizon.  We are ready for something new like the Metal Mural to make a statement on our “memory walls”.  For the last 75 years our special moments have come to us captured on the same paper.  Sure, the resiliency of the paper itself has come a long way, but isn’t it time we start moving in a new direction?  Mammaw’s eyes are going to pop out when you give her the family picture on metal this Christmas!  Come see this new and exciting product on our website at studiopphotos.com or call us today at 1-866-809-0198 to set up your photo session for the fall!metal Family, Fall Frenzy and the Future
